A few of the boys missing such as Morelos, Kamara, Helander and Patterson who were away for internationals plus Jack who’s injured and Sakala who doesn’t seem to have joined the squad as yet. This was the first half team: McGregor, Tavernier, Lundstram, Simpson, Goldson, Hagi, Defoe, Davis, Middleton, Wright, Roofe And this was the second half team: McCrorie, Bassey, Edmundson, Itten, Kent, Mayo, Aribo, Kelly, Barker, Jones, BalogunCheers, quite a shock result then. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We were utterly abysmal in the first half and Jermaine Defoe missed at least 2 sitters. We improved in the second half but were still poor. We should get rid of Simpson, Middleton, Barker and Jones. Nobody has suggested getting rid of Ofoborh considering we haven't even seen him play competitively yet as he just joined up this summer after signing a pre-contract in January. Barker is heading into his 3rd season with us now, I don't see any issues with moving him on. Wright will most definitely be in and around the first team assuming we play as many games as we did last season and the fringe players you mention are mainly youth that will likely go out on loan with the exception of probably Firth who is 3rd choice keeper and Edmundson who I wouldn't be surprised to see being sold. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
