Parts 1&2 of a sad story .Screenshot_20200224-135654_Twitter.thumb.jpeg.b1207cc72469c941965df57dca12c4e5.jpegScreenshot_20200224-135852_Twitter.thumb.jpeg.59034dcd7618043d8b64350d638385a8.jpeg

See, this kind of thing pleases me immensely.

We got beat yesterday - early lead notwithstanding, getting anything at Parkhead is always going to be a big ask. Power's sending off didn't help, but I'll assume, not having seen a second of coverage, that the result was not a surprise. Hey ho, there's another game next week and, while I'd have loved to take something out of any game against one of the Sisters, it didn't happen this time. Life goes on.

The author of that wee screed above, though. He's not getting on with life, is he? Nope, weeBilly no-titles is threshing about with his bigoted brethren trying to concoct some kind of coherent theory to explain why they don't win every time they play, why half-man-half-haircut isn't treated as a God, why Gerrard's masterplan hasn't resulted in a three-figure points total in his first, bedding in, season and a perfct record in this. And it's fucking eating them up.

I'll put you out of your misery, knuckledraggers. There are a couple of reasons (plus one) rangers aren't winning anything these days.

1. rangers died in 2012, and are still in liquidation.

2. Their tribute act are just another diddy team, albeit with the massive associated costs of keeping up the semblance of being a *cough* Giant of European Football.

3. *whispers* The tribute act really aren't all that good. Never, in over fifty years of following Killie, have I seen us skelp this lot so regularly and over such a prolonged period. Knowing the pain it is causing bigots like the above brain donor just makes it all the sweeter.

Vivan los anos de banter!

RYAN KENT has now gone 12 months without setting up a goal in the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers winger was named Young Player of the Year last season after a loan spell at Ibrox.

Kent ended the campaign with six goals and six assists to his name before returning on a permanent deal worth £7million.

But he has struggled to live up to his price-tag this season with fans growing frustrated at the winger's performances.

The former Liverpool man has made 27 appearances so far this season, netting six goals including the opener in Rangers' 2-1 win at Celtic Park in December.

He has set up just four goals across all competitions with his last coming in the 4-1 Scottish Cup win at Hamilton.

But Kent is yet to register a single assist in the Ladbrokes Premiership this season with two coming in the Europa League and and another in the Betfred Cup semi-final against Hearts.

Remarkably, the 23-year-old's last assist in league duty came exactly one year ago today during a 5-0 win at Hamilton.

Kent contributed to two goals that day, setting up Ryan Jack for Gers' opener before being brought down in the box which allowed James Tavernier to fire home from the spot.

Tavernier is currently Gers' highest assists holder having set up seven goals in 23 appearances this season."

Assists aren't the best best judge of creativity, to be fair, and are reliant on the receiver scoring the chance. That said, compared to the rest on that list, Kent still shows up poorly for xA from open play, key passes and scoring chances created, and in the middle for xA p90.

No chance he’ll answer that.

Why wouldn't I answer it? I'll answer it in this post, saves a lot if hassle.

Theres two points to the original post. One is the validity of the article, which I'm sure is beyond reproach and the other is the reasoning and influencing behind publishing the article.

It's the latter that I'm interested in.
