End of the day, it was being made out that it was big bad Celtic going back on an agreement, turns out it’s not , it’s Rangers not keeping to it.

It doesn’t matter when they’ll be in Ibrox, they know it’s needing done, so just get it done.

And, as said multiple times on here, Rangers caused this in the first place really just because they couldn’t take it.

It's quite clearly Celtic that are the issue here. It's not unreasonable for Rangers to think they'll be at Ibrox for the game so Celtic throwing a hissy fit and not allowing Rangers fans at Celtic Park, because Rangers haven't yet made assurances Hampden will have nets, is entirely pathetic.

This is also true.

It is so petty and the SPFL should block off 5% of the stadium for every OF game until both clubs sort it out. But once again they won’t.

As a Celtic fan, do you not find that embarassing?

Should I?

Assurances couldn’t be given that the agreement could be honoured.

If you were swapping cars with someone and they wanted you to give over your car first, but they couldn’t give you a date when you’d receive theirs, would you do it?

Celtic could very easily state that the spirit of the agreement is that away fans improve the spectacle and therefore will stick to the agreement.

The ‘reciprocity’ stuff is a clear choice Celtic are making to ensure it remains a tit for tat issue. It’s foolish to claim otherwise.

Both clubs are absolutely pathetic. But we knew that.

Oh no, I definitely get your argument.

I just don’t see why it’s bad that we demand Rangers hold up their end of the bargain, given we already acted to ensure we had everything in place.

They haven’t bothered.

What was the agreement? And how have we failed to uphold it?

Is the whole concept of needing nets between the two sets of supporters not pathetic anyway? When the visiting supports were previously allowed they just a band of empty seats between them just like against every other team in the league, Europe, Cup etc. just with more police and stewards.

Are the police insisting on this or is it just both clubs basically admitting their fans are animals who can't be relied on to attend a football game with anything approaching normal behaviour?

Pathetic from both parties here as usual.

Celtic could allow fans in for the 1st game. If Rangers then don't get things arranged for the New Years game Celtic would be well within their rights to tell them no fans for the 3rd match at Parkhead. Celtic would then look the more grown up in this scenario but as usual they take every opportunity going to blame the other and be petty.

That really act like a pair of 3 and 4yr old siblings that are always bickering and blaming the other. This is actual grown men behaving like this and their fans lap it up.

The netting has been pushed by Celtic and their “safety concerns”. Rangers offered Celtic an away allocation last season which they refused to take.

This resulted in the agreement being made that away allocations would return at 5% of capacity with the safety measures in place. Celtic are now refusing us an allocation for the game in a fortnight on the basis that we have not implemented those measures, for a game that is over 4 months away.
