Have we ever been in a situation where we could have all our clubs in the group stage?

Put simply: no.

We've had 3 clubs in groupstages on 3 previous occasions... 2004-05 (when Celtic + Rangers + Hearts did but Dunfermline + Hibs failed), and then 2007-08 (when Celtic + Rangers + Aberdeen did but Dunfermline failed), and then 2022-23 (when Celtic + Rangers + Hearts did but Dundee Utd + Motherwell failed).

Like last season we're bound to have 3 but either Hearts or Hibs making it through would set a new record. That would also set a new threshold of 80% success (surpassing 75% we managed in 2007-08).

Incidentally we only had 4 clubs in Europe in 2007-08 because nobody took-up the Intertoto Cup place. Hearts and Inverness registered the necessary expression of interest plus finished in required top 8 but ultimately declined to participate.

EDIT: if you mean "have we ever had all our entrants already into groups or contesting last qualifying round", then again: no.

(Tbf competition formats have also altered a fair bit over the years).

Back in 2010-11 we had Rangers in CL groups... Celtic + Dundee Utd + Motherwell all fell at last EL hurdle... but Hibs exited previous round.

Ditto in 2021-22 we had Rangers + Celtic in groups... St Johnstone + Aberdeen both fell at last ECL hurdle... but Hibs exited previous round.

5 years ago Aberdeen took Burnley to extra time and missed a sitter to win the game, anything is possible

Aston Villa are quite a bit better than Burnley were and Aberdeen under McInnes 5 year ago would absolutely shag Lee Johnson's Hibs.

Of course, everybody wants to shag the Hibs m8. But European porn stars such as ourselves get to be very choosy over who shags us and who doesn't. Aberdeen are a bit of a widnae tbh.

For coefficient purposes Hibs getting gubbed out of sight at home and then with the tie beyond them getting a decent result "on the night" against an understrength Villa side might be the best conceivable outcome

Like when we were utterly outclassed 5-0 by Gareth Bale's Spurs side at Tynecastle but this happened in London

good work Hibs

Phase one complete

Yes, but the first one is the greater injustice.

It is also fueled by their participation in the second, despite the fact that they're pretty uncompetitive in that environment.

Nobody should shed tears over their relative poverty there.  The very idea deserves only scorn.

Celtic have a bigger revenue than Feyenoord and are actually fairly close to Lazio in terms of finance. It was down to sporting ability against those two. The money excuse can be made against Atletico.

Also Aberdeen and Rangers especially had bigger budgets than their opponents this week.

There is no excuse for the results this week, looking for one is the stereotypical mindset fans have when it comes to European football.
Brainwashed into thinking it's shite anyway.

Struggling to feel any sympathy for Celtgers in Europe. Their problem is easy to see. Everything about both clubs is short termism. Of course they will never compete with the mega rich clubs in England, Spain etc, but rather than accept this and plan for the future, both are driven with their all consuming need to beat the other.
much is made of countries like Holland. Clubs there produce an assembly line of quality players, who they sell on and reinvest in the next batch to replace them. Here, the big two buy 2nd rate journeymen to try and attain short term lead over the other. Other than Calum McGregor, Kieran Tierney at Celtic and Nathan Paterson at Ibrox, what happens to the hundreds of kids that have gone through both academies in the last decade?

I discussed this with an OF fan and explained that Benfica, Porto, Sporting, Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord all sell players on at huge profits while being competitive in Europe and asked why they aren't doing the same. I was told the need to win at the OF is like nowhere else and they simply haven't the time to invest in youth to the same degree as these clubs. He genuinely thought Ajax and Benfica get a pass from their supporters at not winning their own leagues.
