Lurkst
Great final session from Budapest. Cap doffed to Femke Bol for that finish in the relay, sensational!
Caledonian1
Don't think there is a specific swimming thread? This is a fascinating story and is bound to make a very watcheable documentary. He is getting $1m if he breaks the world record (knowing that it wont actually count) 20 sec for 50m is beyond comprehension...... Caro-Kann
Anyone got tickets for the World Indoors at the Emirates the start of next month? It's a shame the main indoor Scottish athletics arena has been closed for the winter season but I suppose it means there'll be a new track put down for future year's use. I think a lot of the athletes that entered the Scottish indoors qualifying heats around the country were hoping that they'd have had the finals at the Emirates this weekend as a test event, but was not to be with it held in Grangemouth.

Yeah, heading along on Saturday morning. Looking forward to it! Bit gutted for Guy Learmonth missing out. British Athletics appear to be complete arseholes. KirkieRR
Was at the morning session (Gaun Jemma Reekie!) but even on telly tonight was astonishing, one of the greatest sporting events ever held in Scotland. Muir has nothing to prove, fabulous from Holloway, a gold for St Lucia, a sensational world record for Bol, and Josh 'Saltire' Kerr!
KirkieRR
TEAMGEEBEE end up with four medals, two of them provided by Scots. A Scotland athletics team would not be embarrassing. Just saying.
Caro-Kann
Was at the very enjoyable Sunday morning session and then went to the St Enoch Centre to visit the World Athletics and Glasgow 2014 pop-up museums and later met the high jumper Woo on Buchanan St to the delight of my eldest son who got a photo with him.
