afca32
Hooper was voted Scunthorpe's best ever player too in 2012 despite only playing there for two years, one of which was in the Championship.

The table below is average wages and it’s hard to argue with the results I would say La Liga the premiership seria a and bundisliga are the 4 best leagues in the world further proving my point. Well your point was the more money in a league the better the standard will be, before telling me that a league with some of the highest paid players on the planet isn't close to being the best. Do you see where I'm going? Edited February 20, 2019 by RandomGuy.

Do you see where I'm going?Ur point doesn’t make sense in terms of highest average wages China’s not even in top 10.Also the fact that hooper was voted Scunthorpe’s best ever player lol the fact is he was like ronaldo in Scotland and has been playing in the bottom end of championship the last 4 years
The Moonster
Gary Hooper was a poacher who scored a shit tonne of goals playing for the most dominant team in the country who created circa 5-10 chances for him every match. Quite why it's surprising that he struggles to score goals for Sheffield Wednesday, a team who are perennial strugglers in their division, or how that reflects badly on Scottish football is anyone but skippy's guess. As I said, waffle.
Rodhull
Just signed for Alaves on loan. No idea if they've managed to keep their squad together but think they were a pretty solid team in La Liga last year.
Gordopolis
Interesting move. Turning out to be quite a nomadic career. Wonder if the Alaves coaches will be able to tune him to be a competent footballer instead of just a speed demon. Heart says yes, head says no.
Oleksandr
Wasnt a fan of him at Celtic but glad to see he's challenging himself abroad again, is it too late to call him up instead of a non abroad based player?

dysartrovers
Has anyone seen him play in Spain? I know he has been getting game time as a sub but interested to know if he is doing well
craigkillie
I saw one of his games and it was a very Oli Burke performance in that he troubled the defence but the ball kept bouncing off him.
Gordopolis
Yeah I've watched a few alaves games. He is still terrifyingly fast and technically inept in equal measures.Think we just have to accept he's not going to develop much beyond that, and use him in games where he can menace and unsettle the opposition.
Burnie_man
I like Burke, but it's hard to know where you'd actually play him. Perhaps an impact player off the bench to unsettle defences is just exactly what he will be.
craigkillie
He's still only 22, so he still does have a chance. He definitely needs to find the right coach though, someone who can turn him from a rugby league player who can run fast in a straight line into an actual footballer.

kenny131
Burke bulked up way to much for his position and lost all his agility when he burst onto the scene.
Barry Ferguson's Hat
If you can't handle him when he's BULKING you don't deserve him when he's SHREDDED.
