The Minertaur
Think you boys might need to make some more signings. Current 8 (eight) - 0 down to Airdrie after 54 mins

Brazilianlex
Kennedy and Ferry are a couple of frauds with chequebooks and they still need to surround themselves with a bus load of syncophants masquerading as a coaching team. The guy at EK who keeps pumping in millions must surely wake up and realise he is being mugged.

In fact some years ago were invited to the now defunct SPFl Reserve League ( 2nd division) and more than held our own. We have always been able to bring through players and make top signings. The team last season was usual high standard. Then came the perfect storm, most of the still age eligible were tempted away to first team football elsewhere. Some Lowland and most to WOSFL. Would never stand in a players way and to be fair, big ask to break into our First Team. Plus the overall standard in the Lowland version of the Development League is pretty high. On top of that the lack of opportunity to play at Under 18 very limited across the board , a situation faced by most clubs. By it's nature teams coming up through a clubs pathway has peaks and troughs, we are no different. No point in asking players too young/ not really ready to move up to make up the numbers. Almost certain to have a negative effect on their development. Better to make difficult decision now, rather than probably having to fold. No easy answer, but hope this is a one year hiatus. Be great if Lowland League could help everyone by setting up Under 18 Development League to help bridge the gap. No judging at all just doesnt look good on the club..Dress it up as much as you want. It's the same for every 20s team. Anyways looking at tonight's score looks like you've bigger things to worry about.
Nicholas Rage
Wonder what the difference in budget between the two sides is. You'd assume Airdrie's would be a good chunk bigger, but given how their squad from last year has been picked apart this summer, I'd be curious to know by how much.
Simmsy
That was a disgrace. When you go a few down it is damage limitation. That defence conceded lots of goals last season and they look worse this year.
coistysgoldenboots
Mick Kennedy is being found out more and more. Guy has never managed a team without a comparatively HUGE budget - yes, even when he was managing at amateur level. The problem is it only takes you so far and for the budgets he’s had he hasn’t delivered comparable success. For me, teaming up with the likes of Ferry, who is more interested in his dreadful ‘lads’ podcast than being a serious football coach, was a massive mistake on Kennedy’s part. He’s reaping what he’s sowed imo.

jaggyness
Difficult situation for football fans. Airdrie with their odious supporter element and being closet sevconians winning is bad, BUT, a Mick Kennedy team having their arses handed to them, hilarious.

Connor7
A half decent manager would have got EK promoted last season. They will win the league again, but there is no way MK is winning the play offs. Even with the helping hand they got from Buckie, they still fell short. The defence was leaking goals constantly last season, and it looks like it’s only getting worse. Huge turnover of players can not be good for a happy dressing room
