Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

The Tories are staking everything on winning a majority at the GE now, which they won't do. It must be getting closer to the EU just calling the whole thing off...there will be scenes, but ultimately it has to end with Johnson going as PM, having failed to deliver any sort of Brexit, while the UK simply remains in the EU.

They can propose No Deal all they like but it will never pass the Commons.

Please God, let this come to pass.

Johnson using the Spectator to try and discredit Varadkar and to try and claim that he would have been willing to ‘compromise’ had it not been for the Benn Act.
Only simpletons will fail to see this desperate stunt for what it is.
Johnson may not be taking money from the Telegraph or the Spectator these days but there’s an ongoing quid pro quo relationship.

Simpletons and Laura Kuenssberg, apparently.

Simpletons and propaganda merchants.

Alistair Jack still pushing the line that the EU will capitulate at the last minute.  Fucking unbelievable!

There was a lovely call to Nick Ferrari on LBC yesterday from a very broad, very aggressive sounding Weegie.

He was going to great lengths to explain that the Irish were entirely responsible for scuppering BoJo's Brexit "deal" and they would have to pay the price for that. He went on to say that civil disobedience would break out on a scale that no one had ever seen before, and how we was prepared to put his head on the line and set the ball rolling.

Ferrari was beginning to sound worried and maybe even on the verge of phoning the police. "What are you going to do" he asked the caller.

"Well I'll no be buying any mair Irish cheese", was the reply.

31st October and the UK will default to a no deal Brexit  whether the UK parliament votes for it or not.

This guy might well be one sandwich short of a picnic. But he has touched on a truth - the Irish government has indeed bigged up the threat of terrorism and the "insurmountable" SM/CU problems in a blatant attempt to reel in Ulster. A strategy that was perfectly logical with Theresa Jellyfish at the wheel. It might still pay off, but is looking a bit less shrewd with Johnson as PM.
