Her entire defence is that as a gay woman she has the right to call out homophobia when she reasonably sees it.

£730,000 for being a nutter on Twitter. The scary thing is he'll turn a profit on this case even after he pays Dugdale's legal bills.

That defence seems more than enough to beat Wings argument, whatever that may be.  He doesn't seem to have a case at all. I'm really surprised the judge didn't tell him to do one.

I suspect you are right, the Rev is just chasing coin, and it's working.

Wings is brilliant at debunking lies and smears and all backed up with facts and figures. He's been brilliant for the Yes movement in an area that is so lacking. The SNP for instance have no idea how to handle the media and only recently started to complain to the BBC.

Wings does have a down-side though and can come across as very crass at times. Unless there is an alternative with the same forensic ability for detail and information to tear apart Unionist propaganda that will only ramp up again as we get closer to indyref2 then he is an asset we can't do without

Agreed.   He describes his Twitter handle as "The sort of way you'd talk to your mates down the pub"  and Wings as "The day job".

But given the importance placed on him via his crowd funded "day job" he should recognize his position and tone down or quit Twitter all together.

His obsession about trans stuff is off putting too, especially when it's intermingled with the indy fight.

I have never really ventured into his politics stuff, but every single thing he has ever written about football (most of it during the Rangers saga), was far from being "backed up with facts and figures". As already mentioned on this thread, he came on here ranting and raving about it and was very quickly debunked.

It rarely appears outside his website and twitter though. Comforting for Yessers but largely unknown outside his fanbase.

He's a big fan of your Twitter work, unfortunately.
