Savage Henry
One thing is for sure.....telegraph will selling far more papers than usual this week To be fair, the Torygraph sells about twelve copies. It'll be interesting to see how tightly they can manage it. These things usually get spread all over social media; this is a good test of how relevant the print media is these days. Aye they'll want to spin this out for as long as possible but every media outlet will be over this like a tramp on chips.
DigOutYourSoul
They seem to be doing a pretty good job so far to be fair. Great example of the printed media using social media to stay relevant as well.
Officer Barbrady
I'm noticing a rather surprising absence of the words 'thank you', in the direction of the Press over this. Dodgyness is only really a matter of scale, anyway.....most who have some kind of fiddle on the go, are sensible enough to go 'legit' when they make it. Also heard Tony Gale prattle on about 'you're England manager now, should be staying clear of this', he's as bad as the crooks, if not one of them. Bunch of greedy c***s. As if it was alright when he was a club manager. f**k the money people pay to watch games now, if they're that fucking stupid; but the least they deserve is the greedy b*****ds working for them to act like it. I don't know why people are trying to save this situation by trying to rid the game of 'corruption'.....it needs to be allowed to go to shit, implode, and cleanse itself naturally. mizfit
8 other managers? Sean Dyche, Nigel Pearson, Steve McLaren, Mark Hughes, and Michael Laudrup are my guesses.
Diamonds are Forever
Will be interesting to see what actual evidence they have. From the article it seems a lot of it is based on 'we met a dodgy agent who says managers are dodgy', which clearly isn't going to get them very far. Have to assume given the fuss they are making they have concrete proof for a lot of these cases.

Apparently there's video evidence of a current assistant manager taking £5000 in cash as part of a Bung agreement.

Well if anyone can afford libel lawyers its football mgrs so would think they've checked and rechecked with their own lawyers.
DigOutYourSoul
Knowing how some of the editorial process works, it will have been through a ridiculous amount of legal checking over the last while to ensure their back is covered. Wouldn't like to see their legal bill.

Carl Cort's Hamstring
Probably not one of the names because he's been out of the game for about a decade now, but there were always whispers about Souness' signings when he was at Newcastle. Boumsong from Rangers was the signing that I'm aware of who seemed to have been sold for over the odds.

dogmc
A complete simpleton of a man. How anyone in that position can go running his mouth of to someone he obviously doesn't know is beyond me. As others have said, it's disappointing because I really felt we were in with a shout of getting a result against them with Simple Sam in charge although Southgate is about as thick. Why as the England mgr was he even talking to agents (or supposed agents)?? He can't sign anyone.....presumably they would not have contacted him through the fa but instead his own reps, which immediately would suggest something dodgy is afoot. It's a staggering level of stupidity to a) take the meeting and b ) run his mouth off like that to strangers.
