When I went to sleep Georgia was a lock for Trump now the NYT have it favouring Biden. What happened?

Burst waterpipe in Fulton County delayed count of absentee ballots, presumably with a majority of Dem votes.

BBC News just now. Holy f**k the republicans aren’t a party anymore, it’s a trump faced cult.

Who is this grinning sleazebag? Seth Wethers or something?  He’s just spouting nonsense about Trump not wanting ballots counting next week, but Trump said specifically 4am...

15 dollar minimum wage passes with 62% of the vote in red Florida.

Gig economy workers rights and rent control get crushed in blue California.

Until the FL senate refuses to implement the vote in the same way as they did former felon voting rights.

I've never seen such a punchable face. The presenters did an awful job of questioning him though. I had to switch to sky after that.

Just look at some of the cretins Jordan Klepper meets when he goes to Trump rallies. It's genuinely mind boggling.

Probably but it just highlights that the voting coalitions are a lot more complex than the simple right vs left caricatures.

FL is heavily minimum wage service industry; cost of living vs wages is horrific in Miami and Orlando, so if it’s a per head vote count it’s not super surprising.

It shows the kind of issues that Dems should be focussing on rather than just being for being able to go to brunch.

The Uber vote in California is depressing.

Did you see the Fox exit polls?

Yip. It shows why the establishment Dems had to do anything to stop Bernie.

But i'd temper that by saying that people are generally for progressive ideas but when you start describing the complex actions needed to implement them a lot of people go cold (because they are idiots who don't like details). Obviously it's only Left idea that need to be simple, shit like Quantative Easing and bailouts can be done with minimal public discussion or reporting.

To paraphrase Noel Gallagher and the forum’s own Swampy “the people don’t know what they want which is why any progressive government worth their salt should push through positive change regardless of wider support and trust that the positive effects will speak for themselves.”

You’re never gonna have an honest discussion about something like M4A, look at the Prop 22 vote.
