Always a pleasure to visit Broadwood but one huge disappointment on our last visit was that there were no pies available at the away end. Only a burger van. The burgers were great for sure (although they only had the beef on offer. No chicken) What we need is someone  (A Clyde fan obviously) to pass us over some pies for our tasting competition. At present Clyde sit firmly on the bottom of our Pie in the Sky League. Who is willing to get them off?

Any volunteers? Fans will be reimbursed for their trouble with interest.

Edinburgh have been pretty smart.  They got off to a bad start, but then from September made themselves a lot harder to beat, consolidated a bit.  OK it's not great to watch, (what is in this league?!), but if you look at their scores they've rarely lost by more than 1 goal.  We would need to beat them by 2 tomorrow to draw level on points and GD with a game in hand - and we've not beaten anyone in the league for nearly 4 months.

They come into this with better form than we do.  Our lads are going to need to treat the next two games like cup finals and get any sort of win against both.  Cowdenbeath are only 4 behind, but GD there makes it 5. If they can do that & give themselves a little more breathing space, hopefully that would give them the confidence to go on a decent run.  But of course it could work the other way.  Two huge games for them.

Don't think we are in any position to criticize Edinburgh considering we are below them in the league. I also remember a season under Billy Reid when we won about ten games 1-0 and also had four 0-0 draws with St Mirren.

It's Edinburgh city we are playing not the inter milan Catenaccio [emoji23] they have lost 12 game this season ( two less than us ) so other teams aren't finding it that hard to beat them
For us tommorow it's about attitude and desire something that's been lacking for the past 4 months ( cup games apart ) hear all this crap about its not down to effort, really do people honestly believe a team giving there all in the league for over 4 months wouldn't win at least one game ? The reasons why may be varied and something should have been done to address this a lot sooner it's up to them to dig us out the hole we are in just now , next two games will tell us a lot I think if we don't win them , then better start preparing for a play-off off if you can't get a result against two if the bottom three teams who are you going to get a result against ?

And before we get the negativity police coming on to lecture me [emoji23] I think we will win tommorow 2 0 or 3 1

Yes, but their defeats are rarely by more than a goal so the teams couldn't have found it that easy. They also rarely concede more than a couple, unlike some others I can think of unfortunately

Add to that they're up against a side who find it well nigh impossible to beat anyone

So it all indicates that for us to get a win against them tomorrow, our team's going to need to put in a big shift. But if they can't at least do that now, they never will

Very sad that a proud club like Clyde being dragged into a fight to survive in the senior league it all stems from Barry Ferguson being appointed Duffy had the team in reasonable position he comes in dismantles not a great side but decent one bold appointment but shocker and he will end up at ibrox as a coach realising he ain't a manager board have a look at yourselves

City have won there last 2 away games at tough venues, hopefully they keep that record going at Clyde tomorrow, good at the back and are now more of a threat up top as well, another good performance and hard shift from Lewis Allan to drag defenders out of position for Beattie & Riordan to get goal scoring chances, if they start the game.

Apologies to Clyde. Mr Blobby has been struck down by the vomiting bug and won't be able make the game at Broadwood today.

Anyone willing to post their quirky observations for a match report? Please post it here for inclusion in the City Fanzine (250 words or less) Cheers,
