Polling: 2017 General Election, Council Elections and Independence

Why does that map never get fixed? So much intricate detail on the Hebridean islands then whoever drafted originally drafted it messed up Shetland big time so that the Sullom Voe terminal is located miles inland and Lerwick is southeast of Kirkwall.

Talk about a loaded question.

If true, Panelbase will be doing any survey on behalf of a client; who would the client be?

FWIW I doubt the legitimacy of it.  This is from their website:

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and abide by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA). We are also a Market Research Society Company Partner and undertake all research in accordance with the MRS Code of Conduct and ESOMAR guidelines.

It reads like a question that somebody's boss insisted on, copied verbatim out of spite.

Actually, it could easily be a Facebook post.

This is where I found it, for what it's worth. A couple of tweets down he says it was from Panelbase. Not sure what the rules are for private polling.

James Kelly has a short article about it here

Another question in the poll is

Do you consider the SNP contingent of MPs in Westminster to be...

Options:

Representative of the Scottish character

An embarrassment

Imagine the furore if a similar question was asked about the Tory MSP's at Holyrood

"The actual state of this polling question"

Sums it up nicely.

Edit: I could do that job.

Question 3: Do you Consider the Outgoing 1st minister Nikla Salmond to:

a. have similar views to Adolf Hitler fascist death camp war etc, or
b. be unlikely to introduce Anglo concentration camps within the next parliamentary term.
c. third answer here if Karen demands.
