Le shocolate moose
Is that the real reason? Why couldnt you afford him now? Was offered a new mega bucks deal but turned it down. Not sure if it was the same as or less than the deal he was already on but doubt that it would of been more.Great player at this level and will be hard to replace but have confidence in Farrell and believe he will find an adequate replacement. Mattmc
Is that the real reason? Why couldnt you afford him now? Haven't a clue. Both Gibson and the manager have said that there was a deal on the table but not one that could be agreed on. I don't think Gibson will go any higher than this level now so could see him in this league next season.
Corner Kick Conquistador
Anyone heard word on next seasons kits? Think we have another season with the home and away kits but had two seasons out of our third kit. Bit fed of Stanno. Some of the training/leisure wear has been decent but quality of the tops has been poor. Material nice enough but sponsor and Stanno badge on the sleeves seem to come off easily. Quite like the current kit and have had no issues with the sponsor or badges coming off. It would be quite nice to see a new 3rd kit this season right enough. Might have hard to get the blue on to the away kit.

He was offered 'significantly reduced terms' this year, certainly not anywhere near 'megabucks'. Given the affinity he had with the club and fans it must have been pretty sizeable reduction for him to turn it down too. Be interesting to see where he ends up. I'd have the fear about us playing against him again, strikes me as the sort of guy who would be guaranteed to score against us!

Might reverse it and do a yellow strip with the blue stripe flag as a compromise.
Corner Kick Conquistador
Liam dick no signed yet? No news yet, I see he made the SPFL 1 team of the season though.
Corner Kick Conquistador
Just read that Faz is "confident Liam Dick will resign this season". Apparently Dick is abroad on holiday but hoping a deal will be tied up on his return.
Mattmc
Be a massive coup to keep Dick. Neck on the line here but would see that as more important than signing Gibson. Would be the missing piece in a solid back four. Latest rumour is we're interested in Gary Fleming and David Gormley.
Corner Kick Conquistador
Partick Thistle, Livingston, St Mirren and Airdrie in the Betfred League Cup. Would've preferred the Killie / Ayr / Annan group!

Corner Kick Conquistador
Belford Robertson Neill Barron/Lang Dick Hammil Bell Thomson Agnew Woods Wallace Possible Christmas tree formation next year anyone? Wee bit of a lack of width, however looks a decent side with the players we have brought in so far.

Mattmc
Glad we don't have to travel to Livingston. Would of like St Mirren away as we haven't played at the new ground but hey ho. Hopefully a decent enough crowd given the feel good factor they had around the end of last season. Horrid group so just good to get it over and done with and get the league under way.
