That one game against Rangers on Wednesday is doing a lot of heavy lifting. You’re post is a total irrelevance! Had Carson been our keeper this season we’d have conceded more goal than we have. Had Hemming been yours you’d have conceded less. That’s because Hemming is good and Carson is a liability. That’s what is relevant!

Molotov
Wow - never knew he had left Falkirk. I knew he had an injury recently but thought he was well though of there.

I thought he deserved another year given how important he'd been for us and everything he'd done. So, it's good to see him back. A terrific role model for young players too and a great ambassador for the club.
Kempes
Delighted to see Stephen back at the club. Fantastic role model for our youngsters, great ambassador for everything the club is doing and I am sure he will be a top coach too.
Molotov
All three brothers represented our club with pride but Stephen proved to be a class above. Stephen galvanised our side during his second spell from relegation certainties to champions the following season. Will we see a future generation of McGinn’s play for our team? What a footballing DyNAsty his parents produced for our club. There can’t be many top flight sides in the world who had 3 brothers play for the same club. Welcome home skipper!
djchapsticks
Without a doubt, John was the best player of the three. Stephen though and his contribution to the club, particularly in the second spell means he's one of the most beloved players to have donned the stripes in this century. Some players transcend just ability for their contribution and Stephen is one of those people. He belongs at St. Mirren and it's really good seeing him back where he should be.

Stevie, with his influence under Jack Ross and contribution there, it sort of gets forgotten about how good he was in his run as a youngster. He scored winners for us at Tynecastle and Easter Road, got us a rare point at Parkhead and an even rarer winner at home to Rangers in the last ever meeting between sides at Love St. Watford had him playing regularly and he'd have stayed in the Watford team a lot longer, probably even played top flight down south too if it wasn't for the knee injury at an awful time where he was establishing himself.
