Does anyone know why Turnbull didn’t get a game the first half of the season?

Didn’t have a look in til the damp squib against Lille in Dec but his whole November was practically wiped out with his positive COVID result.

I am guessing it was his lack of Celtic game time that kept him out the Scotland U21 team and they failed to qualify, another potential wasted opportunity

He was with the U21’s when he caught COVID and 3 weeks later he broke into the Celtic team, so probably not.

But he wasn’t playing

And there it is, finally.  We got there in the end eh. I’d imagine maybe the manager thought we had better options, as did the U21’s.

Surely he'd only be entitled to that bonus if they won the league and he wasn't there?

His agent/lawyer etc will argue he could still have won the league as it was still mathematically possible, probability doesn’t matter.

NL won’t be leaving until the league is officially over, he has a bonus of a years salaryif they win the league and if they let him go before then he is entitled to the bonus

If Lawwell agreed to that then he must've thought that they'd stroll the league with no competition,  his arrogance may have cost them.

It'll be interesting if Lennons sacked as soon as it's mathematically impossible for them to win the title.

Slippy G was given 3 years to get it right why should Lennon not receive the same grace?

Things were a lot more "right" at Parkhead when Lennon was anointed appointed than they were at Ibrox when Gerrard was.

Imo, Rangers have made steady if unspectacular progress every season since Gerrard was made manager, and the progress has paid off, aided and abetted by Celtic's hilarious implosion.

Definitely.

I've no problem giving sevco credit for winning the league they have been more consistent than Celtic this season.
If it turns into 2 or 3 seasons then I mite be more concerned about where Celtic go forward to stop the rot.
