Central Belt Caley Posted Thursday at 19:16 Share Posted Thursday at 19:16 I go to my works Christmas dinner mainly because it’s on work time, the boss pays for it all, and a few of us typically slink off to the pub to watch the football later on. Helps that I don’t mind everyone I work with, even the directors that appear once a year are decent craic

scottsdad Posted Friday at 07:07 Share Posted Friday at 07:07 I got my first invite to a festive lunch this week. A team I started working with about a fortnight ago, and I have yet to meet either online or in person. Turned it down. Too early and too weird.

Haven't been to a works christmas doo for years. I actually like most of the folk I work with too, but I f**king detest going out at Christmas time.
Melanius Mullarkey Posted Friday at 09:01 Share Posted Friday at 09:01 We used to have quite good work dos. Up to the Lands of Loyal for a few years (), some place in Glamis, we even had some "aerialist entertainment" one year, which was nice. Sadly, there's nae c**t willing to organise it so its just stopped.
thistledo Posted Friday at 10:45 Share Posted Friday at 10:45 Probably one of my favourite work related topics is Christmas night outs tbh, I've got a few posts on here in relation to them, for me it's the season where the part time drinkers mix with the full time drinkers and I f**king love watching the carnage unfold. Doesn't even have to be your night out, can just go for a few beers with the lads just to see that absolute mess people get themselves in up the town. I can't really be arsed attending my own as it's in Leeds, but if anyone wants to let me know if there's any I can observe in the Glasgow area that would be great.
