It's not so much the fact he's dropping clangers, but Smith's distribution is awful. Smith is a back up keeper. Never should be first choice at this point. Our insistence on not playing the best goalkeeper at the club what feels like every fucking year is really annoying. I think he’s backed himself into a corner on it. Drop him now and it’s admitting he got it wrong, so he’s doubling down no matter how shite Smith plays.
