Oh I didn't realise he'd gone all the way down that rabbit hole.

DA Baracus
Pretty sure old Duggan once wore a Rangers top and proclaimed to be a 'fan'. Strange considering his Irish roots, as was once shown in a video on WWF television.

Crawford Bridge
Hacksaw looks really good for a 69 year old pro wrestler with cancer. Just getting to that age in his profession is an achievement.

The only US based wrestler I've known about, is Rowdy Roddy Piper, and he's deid too.

I know nothing about wrestling and for some reason I read that as Rowdy Proddy Piper. Which sounds like a twitter handle for a flute band member.

Pain killer addiction is the most common cause of death with the wrestlers. They severely do their backs necks and knees in.

Big lumps so no surprise they get those types of injuries, with US docs, happy to dish out the opiods.

You are right to a degree, the over use of the roids will weaken their hearts in the first place. I don't think hacksaw did the roids, he was always a wee bit flabby.

One of the worst mistakes a middle-aged man can make is deciding to look up the wrestling lads they fondly remember from their youth. Hint: they're all dead from a surprising variety of horrible conditions. I think the worst I recall was an unexpected murder-suicide; the autopsy revealed early-onset dementia through head trauma, with the brain's owner (Chris Beniot) likely not being in control of his own actions anymore. Also from the "that's horrible and I wish I didn't know that" file: Jake 'the Snake' Roberts being the offspring of the 12 year old daughter of his paedophile father's girlfriend, eventually being abused by his old man and step-mother at a similar age
