To me, that would mean they had already spoken to someone or some people. Like a house for sale, subject to a signing of missives. You can submit a CV, if we fail to secure a deal, we’ll open it up to more folk. If they called, say Boyer, on the Sunday and he said he was interested, I’d guess they would have communicated the salary band to his agent, then he comes up and doesn’t like what he hears. We’re no Roma but FFS it is possible. Sacking Lee Bullen was the correct decision. It’s obviously all if, buts and maybes however had we kept him I’m confident we’d of finished at best 9th. We may well be making a mess of the recruitment process. super_carson Posted January 19 Share Posted January 19 If (and it's a big if, given it's based on nothing more than social media rumours) the likes of Courts and Bowyer have turned Ayr down for the reasons mentioned then maybe the club need to go back and look at how it's currently running the football side of things.
