Didn't do it at home to Thistle either: Curran spent much of the game in midfield and helping out at right back.

We-ell, aye he did but that was because he was switching positions with Loemba who spent much of the game playing up front.
FifeArab
No idea what the Fojut post is about but he'd get a clean bill of health from our medical team: he's out with a long term acl injury presently. Still better than what we have even Injured. He’d kill his family for a win big mad b*****d.

I have no problems with players switching position if it’s effective. Under Laszlo it’s not. At the Alloa game Loemba was all over the place; literally not figuratively. It was not a strategy that worked. Christ, I remember when Armstrong, Gauld and McKay Stevens used to run on to balls that Ciftci had held up then laid off. Changed days.

We'll have to agree to differ: I never saw that happening as a plan. Safranko was isolated far too often for it to be considered a 'two'.

FifeArab
Booth starting with King and Fyvie on the bench today. Don’t care about the game just hope they all come through unscathed.

He's got to get it somewhere before hitting the first team again so might as well be today. Things all went to absolute tits when he got injured so let's hope his return will get us going again. Whist thus is a pure pishy tourney, it does have some uses.
banana
Fyvie back and fit will be massive. Booth, Glass and Wardrop kicking on would be nice too. Is Big Bou not awaiting international clearance or something? Would take Mosnhi in a heartbeat if he's stuck for a gig.
Sarto Mutiny
I don't mind the tournament too much, aside from the presence of the under 21 teams, but our draws have been rather dull in the last couple of years. Why do we always get drawn at home? I wanted a wee away trip to Borehamwood.

Would be the biggest defence weve had since Wilkie, Kenneth, Dods and Webster. Fucking amazing at this level. Throw Fyvie into the midfield and its becoming a really solid team All we need now is a nearly semi competent manager and the league is ours! Guest DAVIDB69
I know people will say they don’t care but there goes another cup comp. I don’t like how lightly we take cup competitions now.

Sarto Mutiny
It's the 8th of September, and Dundee United have already lost on penalties three times this season. Twice to Alloa. What a time to be alive.
banana
Get Easton tae f**k, etc. To be fair, still appalling even if it is a largely second string.

Granny Danger
Thought there were some positives to take from today’s game given it was our reserves against a strong Alloa side. Great to see Fyvie back, King too though he was quiet today.
