The debate is about the rise of populism is it not? You’d be hard pressed to find anyone more influential in that. A clear attempt at censorship by the first minister.

He’s clearly put a lot of work into delicately arranging the flowers on that Butcher’s Apron.

I wonder how many of them have been rubbered by family members?  Can’t see them being much fun at Christmas, weddings, etc.

Steve Bannon 'far-right'

Terrifying what's happened to the Scottish education system, once the envy of the western world. Hume, Fleming, Maxwell, Bell, et al. rolling in their graves.

Indeed. If the education system in Scotland gets any better, then it risks killing off the far-right for good. bQshDtu.png

Scotland the best educated country in Europe, claims ONS report

Exactly, the heads of so many young minds being brainwashed / emptied.

Being well-educated and a large proportion of population having a qualification are different concepts, for example. Keep up, please.

It's not, but it is clear that she is absolutely terrified of being schooled by Bannon.

She wasn't even due to have any contact with him or share airtime. He wouldn't have had the opportunity to "school" her.

Why did she weasel out then?

If she has been presented with an opportunity to debate Bannon one-on-one, as has been intimated in this thread, then she has a responsibility to take it.

Otherwise, it makes you look weak - because it is.

She was due to speak the day before Bannon. She rightfully considered it demeaning to her office as FM to offer any credibility to a hate mongering toerag like Bannon by appearing as a fellow invited guest.

That's the official line, and it's good that you and her loyal subjects have swallowed it with such vigorous ease.

The truth, and we both know it, is that she is a triggered, lefty, liberal, gammon snowflake, feminist who is afraid of being schooled by Bannon on home turf.

How could he school her when they were due to appear on different days? You appear to be a bit slow on the uptake.

If they are due to appear on different days, why has she felt it necessary to weasel out?

It looks to me, and indeed to every sentient being, that she is afraid of getting schooled by Bannon in a one-on-one debate on home turf.
