There is more money in English football than there has ever been therefore we can only afford the dregs. Getting some youngsters on loan from Championship/PL clubs is the best we can get from down south (altough Sammut would appear to contradict this). The former makes runs & when on the ball is very direct towards goal. The latter holds the ball up well & has a decent finish about him.Lewis, Haber & Dallison are none of the above. I don’t think a 20 min cameo from Dallison is enough to suggest he could convert to a striker. I really hope you are right but I also hope it’s something we don’t see much more of. All hope is gone. I was at the press conference and couldn`t quite believe how much he hyped it up. At one stage a reporter asked if he was disappointed at the defending for the goal Partick lost. knee jerk reaction Posted November 18, 2018 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Happy with a point, I think 2nd half Robson was told to get wide and forward, meant we looked slightly more dangerous still very safety first though. You can see the improved organisation, keeping it tight at the back and making it much harder to score against us.
