Sherrif John Bunnell
They should have thrown in another race at Spa or Austria in December instead of a second Bahrain race. Pirelli would need to make a studded tyre.
IainMorton
The Sakhir circuit has the potential for different track layouts so let’s see what they do. Edited August 25, 2020 by IainMorton
David W
I've always quite liked Bahrain on the Playstation, even if it's dull in real life. I'll take two races there because we're getting a return to Turkey.
Miguel Sanchez
Only way I'd be interested in Bahrain is if one of the races is at the oval layout.

It's not bad but feels very similar to Austin for me! Imola hasn't been great, tough to pass on, might be better with DRS.

They used the longer one before but it was shite so hopefully they just bring different tyres instead. 10 hours ago, flyingscot said: I mean Istanbul is a modern Tilke track from 2005. What if I told you COTA was modelled on sections from various circuits on the calendar, including Istanbul Park's turn 8? IainMorton
Second Bahrain race...
Jeek
It'll be the best or worst race of the season. Something like losing a front wing at T1 will likely put you a lap down and ruin your race, so plenty of jeopardy! Second Bahrain race...
IainMorton
A bit more excitement in prospect this weekend?

I'm not so sure, Hamilton made a mistake on his fastest lap that cost him probably 2 or 3 tenths, then on the race sims the mercs were still comfortably the quickest cars out there. It might be a bit better behind them, but I can't see past another comfortable weekend for the Mercedes cars.
Sherrif John Bunnell
They are expecting 55 second lap times at that Bahrain layout. The blue flags will be well used in that race!

Sherrif John Bunnell
Ferrari were miles faster than everyone at Spa last year. Leclerc has just finished P17 and Seb P20 in FP3.
IainMorton
Think it will take a freak of nature to stop Hamilton just now.

He's in outrageous form at the moment. Half a second clear of Bottas. Ferrari's were lucky to get out of Q1 today. I really wish the FIA would release what they found when they looked at their engine.

They’ve went from 3.69 seconds faster that Williams 12 months ago to practically the same lap times (although Williams have gained 2.4 seconds since Spa last year!!!)
afc_36_0
Sad to see ferrari struggling so much. That mercedes looks like a scalextric car and as for hamilton, anyone arguing he isn’t on a par with fangio/senna/schumacher just looks like a bellend
