I do find it odd that McLaren haven't already told Piastri to be the good team mate and boost the title chances on both fronts. The biggest dissapointment for McLaren would be missing that great opportunity for a one - two and catch right up to Red Bull in the Constructors. Having both drivers consistantly finishing on the podium is going to win that convincingly now Red Bull are all over the place. The form of Sergio Perez in the first half of the season is really costing Red Bull now. Once the Constructors is in the bag then we might see the two McLarens battle it out in anger. I doubt though if there is enough points left for Norris to catch Max Verstappen. All Verstappen needs to do is constantly finish in the top 6 and at some point this season he will win again and wrap up the drivers title, but it will be a lot closer. I believe Piastri rather than Norris is a going to be a World Champion first, could be as early as next season if McLaren carry this momentum. Norris is very good, a top driver but Piastri is already up with him in performance and race pace.
