I'll upgrade to "rather be absolute shite with Dobbie" - us currently, than "be absolute shite without Dobbie" - Morton currently.

Absolute shite who've taken eight points off you in the four league games, are above you in the table and even beat you twice with Jonatan fucking Johannsson at the helm: just let that sink in.

Seems strange that Dobbie allowed all those humiliations to happen to his 'beloved' Queens side tbh; perhaps he should have tried harder instead of jobbing his way around the pitch to no effect again last Saturday.

I think there is certainly a jealousy from other clubs over Dobbie. We would all have him and if clubs were creative we could all afford him. He does look increasing like Harold Shipman mind you.

The point is that they can't afford both Dobbie and a competent first team squad. Since Dobbie rejoined the club the likes of Dunfermline, Morton, Inverness and even little Ayr have all reached the Premiership play-offs; what's more, Livingston have moved from the seaside leagues to the top flight on a relative shoe string budget and a squad without any marquee signings at all.  Queen of the South by contrast have failed to even finish in the top half in any season, this one included.

So there really is nothing to be jealous of in this case; they've put all their eggs in one basket and it has failed every single time.

He only shows his killer instinct when he's playing against old defenders?

Good effort.

Doesn't particularly apply though, but maybe you're on the right lines.  It's perhaps a sort of 'flat track bully', preying on the vulnerable, type thing.  It would certainly tie in with some of the groundless mythology surrounding him.

Goals aplenty against most of the top sides in the division, as well as against top flight sides in the Cup however, would expose that as utter shite.

4 games in 10 days probably killed Dobbie, he has the factor of travelling 100s of miles to do so
Probably right tbh. Him and Dykes have played almost every minute of every game this season. Dykes has looked tired on occasions and he's in his early 20's. We should have brought in a 3rd striker at some point to give those two a rest.

If clubs were creative they could afford him? You sound like that Celtic fan on here who says that Celtic only win the league because the other teams don't want it as much.

Just love it when people are obsessed by Dobbie.

Then you’ll have a wonderful time posting in the diddy seaside league forum from next season. I believe Stranraer fans are particularly spittle-flecked at this time of year.
