English Premier League 2019-20

Pickford is comfortably the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League. It's hilarious that Everton and England continue to persevere with him.

It is, but I raise you the weirdo who cried after making his West Ham debut. And for that matter, the bloke he replaced.

It’s mental how he seems to be the undisputed England number 1. Foster, Pope, Heaton and evening Forster are all miles better.

He’s a wee ned into the bargain as well.

edit - England really do love having blindspots for a keeper. It took them ages to drop Hart when was throwing in clangers every other game despite them having about half a dozen other keepers they could have turned to.

They've always been overly loyal with their 'keeper.

Both Shilton and Seaman were old and finished long before they were binned too.

By chasing Sky for that apology, it seems most outlets are now really starting to turn on the board. Even folk that were previously in their pocket seem to be coming round and asking questions.

Oliver Holt has done a fantastic piece in the Mail (spits).

Won't quote the full article, but the start is quite brilliant.

I hope that making such a generous apology to Messrs Sullivan and Gold and Baroness Brady of Knightsbridge, the visionaries in charge of West Ham United, before the start of the Sunday Supplement programme last weekend, did not stick in the throats of the bosses at Sky Sports.

I wish to clarify, without prejudice, that the use of the word ‘throats’ in this context is in no way intended to recall the porn industry past of Messrs Sullivan and Gold and Baroness Brady and any association between that word and their former careers is purely coincidental and deeply regrettable.

I would also like to state that if the word ‘deep’, or any derivative therein, appears at any time in these paragraphs, it is in no way to be inferred that it is to be used in conjunction with the word ‘throats’, nor is it intended to recall the porn industry past of Messrs Sullivan and Gold and Baroness Brady.

This storm has been known about for a while now, and the train companies were telling not to travel today yesterday afternoon - could it not been called off then? I wonder if they'll try to play it next Saturday or if they'll use the PL letter to avoid that. You'd think City would prefer not to have to play midweek.

Game was called off due to the weather in Manchester worsening in the last hour or two. Came from the safety officer, Don’t think that the non travelling west ham fans were taken into consideration.

England having Pickford as number one in the summer should be a concern for them

Why. I don't think hes very good but have you all forgotten how well he played in the last world cup. He was solid to very good in every game which was more than any other keeper.

IMO he was the goalkeeper of the tournament. I know that went to Lloris but the absolute howler he made in the final should have ruled him out
