The season is only 5 matches in though, if you look at games won/goals difference etc over the last 12 months and compare City to Barcelona, Juventus etc then City will come out on top. I get what you’re saying about the annoying way the presenters on Sky sports chop and change their narrative depending on how well the English teams are doing in Europe but City and Liverpool are probably the 2 best teams in Europe just now.

I stand by my right to kick off over utterly trivial stuff.

Lol, based on a cup.competition Barca should have had Liverpool buried in after one leg?  Atletico are probably better than Liverpool as are Barcelona and Real will be in three months, Bayern arguably are too, and juventus also.  Man city are on a par with these teams, Liverpool a bit behind them.

Liverpool were very unlucky to lose 3-0 in the Nou Camp and demolished Barcelona at Anfield without Salah or Firmino. They also turned over Bayern in their own back years in the last 16.

Shut up glory hunting weirdo.  The goals Barca conceded were laughable at anfield, it's hardly an indication of the quality of the team, and they were lucky not to lose by more at camp nou.

Bayern have better players look at the squads look at the budget. Liverpool can't afford coutinho, bayern can.

There’s no need for the aggression and personal abuse.

If Bayern have a better squad it certainly didn’t show. Klopp’s Liverpool built on a budget too strong and lifted the 🏆

how many Liverpool players would get a game for barca?

goalkeeper?  No

RB? No

LB? No

CB?  One

Midfield?  Nobody

Up front?  Probably nobody, maybe salah as a good option off the bench.

Look at a team like juventus too, their squad is so good they can bring guys like Ramsay and Dybala off the bench tonight, with Rabiot not even involved.  These guys would walk into the Liverpool team.  Some people need to.get their heads out of the EPL bubble.

Forgot another one, PSG are also better than Liverpool, no doubt at all about it.

No doubt about it at all? A team who are throwing hundreds of millions of pounds around the place (including smashing the current world record spent on one player) in a desperate bid to be champions of Europe yet shitting the bed year after year at the quarter finals or earlier are better than the 2017/18 runners up and the current holders of the cup?

Everything you have posted on this subject is absolute shite.

The same liverpool who got pumped from Napoli. Llorente on the scoresheet....

It went from epl league having a real good season in europe last season
The start in the champions league for english teams has been pretty poor.

Eriksen for Spurs just didnt look interested

Well lost 2-0 conceding a harsh late penalty and a injury time 2nd chasing the game. Was a decent Liverpool performance against a team who’ve made it very difficult for them a number of times over recent seasons.

Very early days in the group stages.

They have much better players and a better squad its just a fact.  Performances in a cup competition are irrelevant, look at the respective squads.
