Hard life, but looks like buffoonery pays however you look at it. Don't worry about Boris, if he wins he'll more than recover the temporary pay cut when he leaves office - and in double-quick time if he repeats his "breach of etiquette" when he quit as Foreign Secretary.
carpetmonster
Just what is in the public domain. She is an Iranian working for Westminster Foundation for Democracy which is a regime change front. The Iranians charged her with espionage. The Foreign Secretary of the UK very clearly told a select committee that she was training journalists in Iran. Beyond that it was clear that multiple ministers were uncomfortable making public statements about her actions which wouldn't have been an issue if she was innocent. All mentions of WFD were erased from early news stories about her. Not one UK newspaper has carried details of the charges against her in Iran which suggests a D notice. You didn't even manage to get her name right, Einstein.
Miguel Sanchez
Whichever one of these lizards eventually gets the job, I think we can all be united in hope that isn't Esther McVey, purely so we don't need to read John Lambies Yer Da posting "aye ye wid but" every time she does something.
Detournement
Centrist pin up Rory Stewart is actually a right wing nutter. Quote I will set clear rules to maintain discipline in spending. The current UK fiscal rule is far too complicated: it incorporates commitments to hit four overlapping targets over three different timeframes. Ultimately, the stability of the public finances rests on one thing: a sustainable path for public-sector net debt. I will, therefore, introduce a new and simpler fiscal rule: that public-sector net debt as a percentage of GDP will decline each year over the three years of the next spending review. This new rule will be more easily monitored by investors, taxpayers, and the Office for Budget Responsibility. It will allow for more appropriate flexibility in the underlying budgets. It will also establish a clear and disciplined framework allowing us to put to work the results of the work the UK has done to reduce the deficit and debt since 2010 without jeopardising fiscal stability. With a growing economy, debt reduction is the minimum the electorate should expect from a Conservative government, and I challenge the other contenders to meet this promise. Shocker.

That's because the Canary Islands are an autonomous region of the Spain. They have the same status as Catalonia, Andalusia and the other regions Do you want to give the Parliamentary election vote to all residents in BOTs, e.g. Gibraltar, The Falklands and Bermuda? Not even the most right-wing Tories suggest that.

Aye I would rather that all the tax evading, corrupt wee cesspits were subject to UK law rather than have things as they currently are.

John Lambies Doos
Apparently David Davis forgot his ID card and couldn't vote. The father of the house Ken Clarke nowhere to be seen. Rory Stewart needs his vote.
