That isn’t true at all. If we only draw against Fraserburgh and win the other two games. We go to Buckie within three points of them. Win there and we win the title.

We haven’t bottled it as others keep saying,  we are a few games away from winning the league.

But if Fraserburgh win, Buckie Jags can clinch it by defeating Formartine.

Would be interesting if Brechin are drawing late on tonight. Maybe not go all out for the three points?

Unless Buckie hammer Formartine by double figures on Saturday. Unlikely but the Formartine players are probably already packing their bags for the Costas.

I remember that happening in last season's Brechin v Fraserburgh fixture.  We lost 4-3 😕

Focus on keeping 11 men on the park this time around hopefully!

It will be some going if Brechin blow this game tonight. It's looking like showdown at Buckie last game of the campaign.

I’m still buzzing

Same.  I must have watched the P&J highlights special about a dozen times now.  At the time I didn't realise just how far out Loudon was for the first goal!

Well done Brechin...this Buckie supporter (of a seventies/early eighties vintage) will make the 47 bus journey along the road to cheer you on at Ainslie Pk next week.

Although I must admit a part of me will be sad to see you go from the HFL if you make it...

Who is favourites for the play off Brechin or Spartans ?

Hard to tell, Brechin have a far better record this season than Spartans, only conceded 16 goals and scored 100, but I've no idea how the leagues compare quality wise.

I think Brechin will beat Spartans, but I think it will be tough against the League 2 bottom team. Bonnyrigg have hit a bit of form (although not scoring many), Albion Rovers create a fair amount of chances, but are just a bit hit and miss. They could miss them all, or they could score 5. I think Elgin might be the easier to beat, but again, they can be good at home when they put the effort in.
