Auchinleck Talbot vs Cove Rangers (SPFL2)
Think this is another cracking, interesting tie especially as Cove won the playoff against East Kilbride and then against Berwick Rangers last year to reach league 2. Adding to that they they are top of the league, it going to be an exciting prospect of a game

Very well done to everyone at Auchinleck Talbot. Tremendous achievement.

Was shades of the Ayr game in that Talbot conceded a bit of territory but did so believing that they would win as a result. Tucker also made attacking changes that directly influenced the outcome. He is a genuinely talented manager that Talbot are lucky to have.

Had a look at the stats on bbc & that sounds about right. Credit where credits due to Talbot

Very similar in many respects to the Ayr United game last season. Soak up the pressure in the first half where Cove absolutely dominated, but Big Andy had only the one save to make. Come out and play a bit more in the second half. We had one golden chance about 15 minutes before we actually scored but Graham Wilson just couldn't slide far enough to meet Samson's low cross across the face of goal. Then, exactly the same as Ayr last year and brought two fresh legs on up front and went for it. Forget the stats, they're meaningless. Cove were very good on the eye and had some lovely movement on and off the ball, lots of well thought out feints and backheels....yet we won 1-0. Great days to be a Talbot fan.

Not sure how many more senior teams the 'Bot will have to beat to settle all debates but here we are!  Well done everyone!

True but if you watch A View From The Terrace it doesn't sound like the Bot want to take on these teams in a regular basis. Big Fish in a Wee Pond was an apt segment title.

Congrats though for another great win!
