But where will that leave 'centralist' Tory voters....those who aren't extremists or no-dealers and who are appalled by the cull of established, experienced moderate Tory MP's by a PM that is controlled by the rabid Dominic Cummings ?

More than 50% of voters are Remainers. Some clever tactical voting could see the country rid of the stench of Johnson and his band of fanatics.

Voting Lib Dem I'd imagine. That's what I'd be likely to do for the first time in my life if an election is called right now. However I'd also be keen to ensure that neither Labour, nor the SNP, made any progress at all so if, in my constituency there was an option to vote tactically to keep their candidates from being elected I'd be all over that.

You aren't right with your second statement though. Fewer than 50% of voters are Remainers. We saw that in the EU Referendum. 52% of those who voted, voted to leave the EU, and to be completely honest - despite their disappointment in the Conservative Party, I'm 100% certain that most of those voters will have their resolve strengthened rather than weakened by the fact that our MP's have failed to deliver on the referendum result.

Labour would have lost a potential general election as England is rabidly right wing and pro-Brexit.

It’s fairly shite for the people who want a Hard Brexit that they keep getting fucked over.
It’s shite but also very, very good.

Its not shite, its fucking hilarious. I love listening to LBC etc and hearing how raging they are. James Obrien does a great job, tends to ask things like ‘what 1 EU law are you most looking forward to being repealed?’ Etc. Raging arseholes don’t even know. Its mental, these people tend to be from absolute shiteholes like Barnsley etc, the type of places destroyed by the Tories and the sorts of places/workers who would be done over by brexit and a repeal of working time laws/european workers protections that they so desperately want to abolish. Why? Because they are fucking xenophobic simpletons who wish to pass control from ‘the undemocratic EU’ to ‘the house of lords and Dominic Cummings’. Get it right up any person who wants a hard brexit. Foaming at the mouth at the prospect of being made poorer, paying more for shopping/cars and the rest and not having ready access to medication etc.

O'Brien on LBC has become compulsive listening for me. He deserves a much wider audience.

That's not possible. All they can force is for Johnston to ask for an extension from the EU. The next parliament would decide whether not a no deal Brexit would be part of the negotiation strategy.

Ignorance is bliss M8. if you still believe in Brexit and you still believe in democracy you are in a dark place.

There is a fairly significant cohort within the 17.4m people who voted to leave the EU have never exercised their democratic right to vote in any other election in their lives. The pollsters estimated well over 50% of people who voted in the 2017 GE had voted to remain in the EU the year before.

Having said that, in 2017 a lot of those "first time voter" Brexiteers probably felt quite comfortable that either May or Corbyn would deliver Brexit and thus stayed at home. It's possible that they'd come out to vote again to back Johnson or the Brexit party.
