CALDERON
I genuinely worry if Mcglynn thinks that game was in any way close. Hopefully it's just a poor attempt to deflect criticism and he doesn't genuinely feel that.

Michael W
Watched the highlights. Our problems at the back sadly beyond the failed CB pairing that we are now stuck with given Matthews is out. What do we actually do in training? All I can see is a pile of bodies acting in no coordination or shape. Our goals were dreadful as well.

Crawford was great, McGlynn.... fud. How's Wallace and Denholm been getting on? Denholm's had fairly limited game time so far. Think he picked up a knock early on and, to be fair, Liam Watt and Aaron Dunsmore are making themselves undropable. Wallace has been absolutely class. Looks like his dropped a bit of weight over the summer. He's always had the quality but he's looking fit and really putting himself about like the Ryan Wallace of old. Great predatory instincts for our third yesterday and absolutely beautiful determination to get the ball across the face of goal for our first. £7k is an absolute bargain. Also, great to see Arbroath doing well up in the championship. Great squad Dick's put together there.

Ahah, the EastFife/Arbroath love-in, don’t you miss it???But as has been said Wallace has been brilliant and does look fitter and it’s a shame Denholm got injured as he looked very good in pre-season!!!

grumswall
That boys no much better but I was laughing at that happening at the time. He was shouting for mcglynn to change it 5 minutes after he had changed the shape, and shouting about why Anderson shouldn't have been taken off for gullan who then went on to score last week.
Cosmic Joe
Going into the game yesterday I was quietly confident as I thought we were man for man the better squad. We needed a 9/10 performance, similar to the Airdrieonians one however, which is never a given. The other factors that could have worked against us were the conditions and the old derby game leveller. It turned out that we got the 9/10 performance required and despite the slightly edgy few minutes at 3-2 ran out comfortable winners. Forfar Athletic away will be just as big a challenge in my opinion...

I'm not entirely sure that Dunfermline fans will care too much for Crawford’s great interviews when their side lie 2nd bottom after significant investment.
