A tackle did go in to stop him, but he was up quicker to square it for a tap-in.Really the first chance the Fife have had, but they're against the wind this half.Rovers responded immediately with a well worked move and goal, but it was flagged offside. We can't get far enough up the park to get decent crosses in at the moment. A speculative long ball just caught him out though, just a shame Allan had to go so far wide to go round him, no chance of a finish.Crosses causing bother in our box, mind. Wallace looked offside to me, but it's another situation our defence completely failed to deal with.Since the goal, the game was moved 40 yards. Comfortable for 20 mins with albeit a fortunate goal, but we've been miles off it since then. EF are sharper and have adapted to the conditions well. One of a few Rovers players who needs to screw the heid when we're not getting decisions, especially when he's on a booking.It was a ludicrous situation, though. Spencer was waiting to take a freekick, and put his foot on the ball. An East Fife player then raced away with it, because it had been "taken", and the ref waved play on. King Kebab Posted August 31, 2019 Author Share Posted August 31, 2019 HT East Fife 1-1 Raith Rovers All Rovers the first 20 or so minutes where the used the conditions well but they did nothing with their possession, the goal came from a mistake and Hart hasn’t had a save to make all game!!! We definitely have come back into this and really should be 3-1 up Murdoch going for the spectacular instead of tapping it in and Wallace hitting the bar!!!
