The Big Relegation Thread

Dundee's a far better away day, so I hope you're toast.

No offence, like.

St Johnstone out, Arbroath in, Dundee beat Killie, also a shite away, in the play-off.

That's an improved league.

I approve of this scenario, provided that McGhee is shot into space circa 1st June.

We are absolutely dreadful and stink of Hibs 2014 squad wise. If either or both of St Johnstone and Dundee pick up a handful of wins, we would be in severe relegation trouble. Cannot buy a win, severely lack creativity and lose cheap goal after cheap goal

Nah, you are too many points ahead at this stage, regardless.

I'm going for st Mirren to take the drop.

Would certainly be the popular choice. Bring absolutely nothing to the top league and you could replace them with any generic weegie dross like Accies, Kilmarnock, Partick or Morton and folk would barely notice.

Agreed. There were a few supporters who just refused to believe Hibs could be relegated that season too. Some of them probably post on here.

In 2014 Hibs were 7 points clear of the play-off when the side in 11th had played 29 games.

Aberdeen are 9 points clear.

It's possible, but we need a big effort from all involved. Teams should immediately follow Hearts' gallant example in lying down to Dundee.

We tried hard to chuck it tonight, even played them with 10 men but they still couldn't score in a barrel of fannies.

Can't see them pulling anything out the bag.

Trying too hard.

Everyone of those clubs you mentioned are bigger than St Johnstone.

Bottom two needing snookers to get tenth now, they’re running out of games. Both of them fell yet further from safety tonight after another impressive County win, I think Malky’s made them safe now.
Are Aberdeen catchable? St Johnstone would effectively need to make up ten points in nine games on them due to that goal difference. Surely not…

Dundee and St Johnstone are in a tiny spot of bother, aren’t they?   Considering County didn’t win any of their first ten games, I honestly thought they’d be right in the relegation mix.

St Mirren fans claiming to be a big side while simultaneously wetting their knickers in excitement about finishing 6th.

It's great stuff.

Nothing to suggest that is going to happen.

It won't.  But, with a game in hand and a game v Dons to play it's not all that unlikely in the eyes of an outsider looking in.

However, any of us who have followed the Dees this season know it won't happen.
