That said, McGlynn fucked that formation right up. Once we got full backs playing as full backs it was a different story, and Armstrong was immense. Had we started the game with that lineup we would have won IMO. The two best teams in the league to be honest. Neither will leave with much to fear, but for the money spent and resources.... That Falkirk side are there for the taking. With the huge budget advantage Raith and Falkirk have over the rest of the teams in the league , plus full time football they should comfortably be better than the run of the mill seaside teams. But at the moment what I’ve seen of both Raith and Falkirk they are both bang average .
glasgow_bairn
This is a bang average Falkirk team.Raith creaming it over arguably their best team in 3-4 years doesn’t say much about the aspirations and size of Raith as a club. Still they won’t win automatic promotion and we will [emoji1303][emoji1316]

Rovers are a hybrid, but personally I'm not a great believer that being full time makes much of a difference in all honesty. The standard of part time players in this league is better than people give credit to. Budget wise, we're obviously well ahead of 8 teams but a significant amount lower than Falkirk. Funnily enough, we've improved significantly on the defensive front (aside from McGlynn's tinkering today) since Anderson came in after the East Fife game.

Remember where you heard it first.............FALKIRK WILL WIN THIS LEAGUE!! Personally, I guess like most Rovers fans, after the crazy start we made today, the draw was almost like a win!! McKinnon MUST stay!!

A disgrace of a player, but following orders I guess, to nail Hendry. It wasnt the 1st time he'd tried and looked like he was subbed because his head has gone. Dirty, dirty Falkirk. Somehow some arsehole of a Morten supporter used to hold him up as a fantastic footballer, however today he has proved his talents have fallen bellow the expectations of a lower league hacker.
Ro Sham Bo
Some glorious reading on here tonight.Agree with the majority of Rovers viewpoints here. McGlynn cost us the game with his starting line up but conversely he won us a point with his changes at half time.Great to see a bit of the fighting spirit that was woefully lacking last season. Also great to see Hendry and Armstrong really step up to the plate in the absence of Vaughan. At half time today we were sitting 3rd but by full time we were 2 points clear at the top. Not hard to see why we're all quite happy with today's events overall.

How many times do we need to hear this league is shit from the Falkirk fans? queue the ‘well it is’ retort. shite starting lineup, shite mistakes to concede two goals, no fight, Falkirk time wasting after scoring their first goal after two mins. good formation and personnel changes in second half. Great goals, tidser should have been sent off, telfer is a little cretin, McMillan May be able to actually do something in a game if he stopped moaning and trying to buy free kicks, should have won the game in the second half. Gomis is a great player, no wonder he was knackered after 70 minutes having to carry the rest of the team. bairn88
Tidser is a diddy, highest earner by far in our team and don’t think he’s had a single good game for us. Mckinnon’s legacy
