A true professional.
My favourite story I've seen about him today, after he had taken the RoI to the 1990 World Cup, whenever he went out for a meal in Ireland he would pay by cheque, because he knew the restaurant owners would stick the cheque in a frame because it had his signature, rather than cash it.

Nobby Stiles was my pick from that 1066 team (or however long ago they actually stole it). Cmon Nobby get me on the board.

I've got Norbert and Jimmy Greaves, who looked done for quite a while back.

I also have jimmy, i forgot he was part of that squad. PS My mum now deceased used to sell programs as a kid at Petershill, probably in the 1940s.

Big Jack as we know was a keen fisherman. He actually spent a lot of time in the Perthshire area. Someone I know used to work in a hotel that Jack often stayed in. He was notorious for grabbing the waitresses arses and being a bit of a pervert in general. True story.

I think it's Hunt, Hurst, Bobby Charlton and Stiles who are still around of the Cup Final team. I had two of those in my Dead Pool two years ago so eternal life was guaranteed.

George Cohen is still with us.

Jimmy Greaves, Ron Flowers, Terry Paine, Ian Callaghan and George Eastham are still alive from the squad too.

Brother Bobby doesn't speak well of Jack, either.
