Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Stick to the plans for blended learning (that we'd spent months preparing for) instead of caving at the first sign of pressure from UsForThem?
I'm not convinced that blended learning as a tool to enforce social distancing would have made much difference. We would have still had pupils mingling in corridors and social areas.

Either schools stay open with safeguards or they are closed.

Where I think they are late to the party is the enforcement of face masks.

I think they should have been compulsory from the off for all pupils.

Is the realistic objective not to minimise rather than eliminate contact?

You would have had significantly less mingling with pupils in school for 2 days a week rather than 5. I don't think that can be doubted.

You can't eliminate contact altogether. It can only be reduced.

It’s like you don’t want to seriously discuss the question.  That’s you’re right of course.

I don't think it's me that isn't up for a serious discussion tbh. "Who are you voting for and why is it not just SNP?" is not a question you'll get much traction from.

It is serious from my side.  Given your many and continued criticisms of the SG I was interested in which political party you thought would have handled it better had they been in power.  You are obviously reluctant to answer.

This is the same patter that people use when the likes of Accies fans said Canning Out, and once more now it's Rice Out.

"Who'd do better?" Is the go to response when trying to defend the indefensible.

David King on BBC there with a bizarre statement that it would be impossible to shield the vulnerable because... “many of us are old and live close to to children”.

There may well be aspects that do make it too difficult to do effectively, but living near to children certainly isn’t one.

He's must be shitting himself over this.

Imagine being the PM that finally broke England, not even two world wars and losing in the 1990 World Cup semi finals managed that.

Its not a good look and the gammonrati are foaming at the mouth on twitter
