Rob1885
I was just at Morrisons in Ayr. I lost count of trolleys with half a dozen plus bottles of wine / spirits combined with a couple of slabs of beer and that was in 30 mins or so. Must be some huge over 18 muti generation households in Ayr !!!This post is a parody surely haha

Between me and my wife 8 bottles of wine and a slab each of beer and cider is probably about right. Probably more if we do a hogmanay blowout That would last several years in my house. Neither of us drink wine or beer. I think the last cider we bought was a 10 pack in the summer, I think there are still 4 or 5 of them sitting in the fridge.

peasy23
I went to asda today and bought a kettle. It was a 1.7 litre so I'm sure some on here would be thinking "who's he making tea for?"If you have a giant Sports Direct mug, that's barely half full.

Loads of people (not me, sadly) won't be working again till at least the 4th. How dare they have a bottle of wine each day... GrannyDanger has a lot of relations in Ayr, by the looks of things.

Ron Aldo
I might be completely missing something here but why was the Nightingale ever set up if it was known that there wasnt going to be enough people to staff it?

Can't possibly have expected the government to know how many qualified healthcare workers it had before firing money at spare building capacity way back in March, right enough.
