I would imagine a huge chunk is those who were in London. I was down there and have tested positive although all my mates who I was with have tested negative. I’ve had one dose of Pfizer but Covid has knackered me the past 3 days. Hopefully it’ll get better soon

Another win for 'public health' and 'the science'! Also, that Stephen Reicher is clearly a VL.

But a sharp case rise in the past week has prompted authorities to reinstate distancing rules. Today, authorities - already concerned about the "extremely contagious" Delta variant - have reported 16 new infections, which brings the cluster there to 37 cases. Now the city's 5.3 million residents will have to wear masks indoors, and many will be banned from travelling out of the city. "Please abandon non-essential activities, please don't attend social gatherings unless you absolutely must," says New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian. You can read more on the story here. Elixir
Not a peep from anyone in the Scottish Government at Holyrood or SNP group at Westminster today, including the transport secretary and spokesperson, respectively. Good to see the travel and tourism industry finally kicking up a stink, though, especially together with the news of UEFA hangers on allowed in for the football hassle free. I wonder if going to London has meant that people have got LFTs when they otherwise wouldn't have . And they may already have had CoVID before going.
