dirty dingus
Him and his missus are known for blogging and writing articles, I'm sure if the kid had autism they would have brought it up previously.

Yes, that's what strikes me as odd about the whole thing. It was all over Twitter last night but I can think of absolutely no mention of it from before then. I wonder where it originated from.

I'm not sure if you're being obtuse or not. My mum and my wife's parents haven't had any 'specialised training' either but I'd far rather my children went there for emergency childcare than some specialist provider they'd never met and had no relationship with. I think it's fairly obvious what will happen. He'll make statement which will swing between sounding mildly contrite and witheringly sarcastic, will give bland answers to some questions, and then the Tories will say 'it's over and done with now, let's draw a line under it'. The Mail and Telegraph will swing back round to the Tory side, and it'll all be Nicola Sturgeon's fault.

While I'd obviously agree, would it be fair to suggest that it's unlikely that a parent in such a situation would have no alternative options within 250 miles?

It seemed to stem from one gammon account starting with the word supposedly and then was jumped on by the defenders of dom and got it trending , whether this is just clutching by his supporters or a more sinister twisting of the narrative I don't know but to not let folk know your kid had autism seems a bit strange especially when your such high profile.

dirty dingus
Neil Oliver @thecoastguy 21h The metropolitan press pack and politicians of all flavours have together created a spectacle as irrelevant to most people’s lives and as debasing as watching rats cannibalise each other in a pit. Neil Oliver Retweeted Toby Young @toadmeister 2h Seeing the mob go after Dominic Cummings is stomach churning — humanity at its most ugly. I know what it’s like to be pursued like this and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It creates a primordial terror, particularly if you have small children. No one deserves this. No one. Neil Oliver @thecoastguy 1h Anyone happy about mob behaviour directed at anyone should just block or mute me now and be done with it. The 2 biggest bellends in the universe playing tweet reach arounds.
