The outdoor fives place near me has been reopened for weeks. emoji2371.png

I know that some places/people have been at it, but some places have been open for non-contact stuff (limited number of households, or for U18s who haven't had the same restrictions).

Step son has developed a cough over the last 24 hours and is very hot to touch.  Mum is "high risk" and this thing will take her out easily. I'm very likely just being para but my arse is going.

Covid aside, the way his cough and temperature have come on I would probably keep him off school tomorrow anyway, but I'm assuming his brother will need to be kept off as well?

No idea of the rules but that would be common sense.

If you work in an office then by definition you can work from home

I don't think you know what "by definition" means

If someone in a household has symptoms then you request a test, everyone in that household has to stay in the house until the results come back. That's what we're currently going through.

I’ve got can’t pay well take it away on in the background just now. Not sure how anyone can be happy at doing that for a living.

BBC daytime TV is completely mental. It's literally just people buying houses, buying and selling antiques/junk and shows about illegal immigrants, baillifs and benefit cheats.

Can't Pay We'll Take It Away is one of my favourites; gives you the impression they're going to be going around repossessing flashy sports cars and expensive goods, but it's usually just threatening to kick immigrant families out of their hovels.

It's great that they are opening things, but you do have to wonder what is driving their decisions that they do not want to divulge.

By NS's own admission, daily cases are 3x higher than they were when she initially said these activities were unsafe, yet they are now deemed safe enough to be brought forward by 2 weeks.

I suspect, contrary to what they say each day, new "cases" are not the primary driver.

The looming furlough deadline will of course have nothing to do with any of this.

What exactly is the plus side of opening offices?

In my case the positive is I'll have a job, the negative is I'll be back doing it.
