If the government genuinely believe lives are at risk or that the NHS could become swamped it is THEIR job to force closures. You're usually banging on about the feckless youth and wasters having no sense of personal responsibility, quite the turnaround.

UsedToGoToCentralPark
Big impact on the NHS with school closures happening. Don't really worry about the royal family though.Retailers might struggle as well, also police, fire service, ambulance, etc.Cant just magic up childcare that doesn't exist. Getting grandparents to look after the children isn't a great idea so the frontline NHS services and supermarkets could have a big problem.

pub car king
With the schools shutting panic buying will get a lot worse as people panic about being home. Plus kids go through no end of food in the school holidays as it is.
pozbaird
Wee fcukers running around smearing their snottery fingers on McDonalds ordering screens from now until the end of the summer? Oh joy. Protecting our frontline services? Tell that to Scottish Fire & Rescue when the wee fcuks have set fire to 600 skips and 30 schools out of sheer b*****dness. -
DigOutYourSoul
Schools shutting makes sense. Wife home at lunch upset because they’ve no idea what it means for the kids doing higher/advanced highers/who’ve applied to uni.
