Coronavirus (COVID-19)

I had a flu vaccine 2 weeks ago. The only difference from last year was that we were all wearing masks, and social distancing is strictly regulated. I doubt there is much risk of the vaccine bursting into the air while being injected, if that's what you mean.

We got ours about a month ago. Masks, social distancing and hand gel. In, out, no coffee and biscuits this year, or socialising in the waiting room.

And no "deep clean" between injections.

But you wouldn't be protected from Covid, or flu probably, immediately after a flu vaccine either. I honestly don't know what he's on about, apart from feeling the need to instantly rebut anything anyone says who isn't on the same wavelength.

We're not protected from Covid at the moment, but that didn't prevent the flu jabs being administered.

It will be the same process for the Covid jabs, except there will be fewer people getting the jab at any one time, depending which category you fall under.

That's a pretty bizarre response, even by your standards, when I'm neither defending or criticising the performance of the SG in their handling of an ongoing public health crisis but merely pointing out flaws in your "key metrics".

Todd Basically accused me of sticking my tongue up NS' arse because I quoted something she said the other day.

Where does he live in Scotland?

Good question. If it turns out he’s “broken the rules “ but Blackford has apologised because the guy’s not from England that will be class.

Edit to add that according to the guy the picture was taken about 5 minutes from his house.

She's following guidelines, sounds like a classic case of workplace bullying from yourself.

5 negative tests. At it.

I'm a Union Rep and soft as shite when it comes to management and even I think she's at it.

ETA: and for Daily Mail readers it's a Public Sector organisation just to make you seethe at overpaid gold plated layabout public sector workers.

Whether he has moved to Scotland or not Blackford should

1. Not be a dick

2. Not encourage pile ons to members of the public

3. If he wants to engage in #2 create an account and dotting account on Pie and Bovril

You can think whatever you like, she's following guidelines. The whole "5 negative tests, at it" shows why folk like you shouldn't be allowed anywhere near shop steward or union roles.

The guy live in Thurso.  I have absolutely no idea why Ian Blackford decided to target the guy the way he did, really, really weird story.

There's a lot of things being revealed about people during the pandemic.

I think a user posted earlier they thought Astra Zeneca was churning out supplies in Scotland mmmm

Forty million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have already been manufactured by the world's biggest vaccine-making company, Serum Institute of India, based in Pune. And they hope to make 100 million doses by the end of the year.

Or indeed 3. Find better things to do with his time as an opposition leader and MP than police Twitter images.

It really doesn't matter whether the person lives in Bournemouth or Bargeddie in terms of the actual behaviour though.

I think that might have been me that suggested the before, I was going from the news that I read here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-government-invests-in-livingston-facility-to-bolster-vaccine-manufacturing-capacity

ETA: I misread the article, didn't realise that that was a separate vaccine that is under development.
