Probably this time next week once the mass vaccination centre's in Edinburgh and Aberdeen open tomorrow.

I hope to f**k it sees things ramping up big time.

1% of the adult population U.K. wide getting a first dose yesterday. For us alone it was 0.5%.

600,000 vaccinations yesterday alone, in the UK. More than Scotland has mustered in total.

Further exposing the utter shambles and incompetence on offer up here. Not sure about the too wee, too poor bit, but they’re certainly too stupid.

Minter again recognises Scotland isnt in the Uk...2nd week in a row

We need to ramp it up, and it needs to happen next week otherwise there are legitimate questions to ask as to wtf is going on. However, the signs are good.

Great news... and then you read the comments on that post. Universally fucking doom and gloom. There are definitely some people who just seem to thrive on misery and ensuring others feel the same way.

According to the article above, modelling suggests we need ~85%(?) coverage with the vaccine to ensure R is kept low enough.

Dont know how it works like that if the most vulnerable are jagged tho

Low enough for what purpose? Nobody cares if somebody picks up a cough for a few days.

I was just reading up on Clownshoes and his latest statement regarding sports and saying crowds "could" be back in Sept. Why are we waiting until Sept? Surely once everybody in the elderly/vulnerable category is vaccinated then that should be it. Seems in that regard they're going for the "zero covid" utopia just incase 30 year old Davie that sits along from me at the football gets the sniffles for a few days 🙄

Does she have previous for this?

His daughter works in brand awareness.

Surely just a coincidence with how he’s released a book, been knighted, had a trip to Barbados over Christmas, an interview with piers Morgan and released his own gin in the last 10 months.
