Johnson yesterday, Trudeau today. Both added to the increasing list of world leaders encouraging their populations to get vaccinated whilst undermining the programme with their words.

The brass neck of them to complain if people start deciding they don't want to get vaccinated because they feel there's no point.

I honestly don’t blame those in their 20’s that will decide what is the point in getting the vaccine. Nice to see Johnson backing himself into a corner though and basically having no grounds to push through the domestic vaccine passport nonsense

Have the EU got a load of Pfizer / Moderna on the way that let's them completely bin other vaccines?

Think I read they have ordered 1.8 billion Pfizer

They're negotiating those.

Great times coming for Pfizer shareholders at 19 Euros a dose.

It is hope that 2,000 people will be aloud to watch fringe shows at the Edinburgh Festival in August outside and 400 people will be aloud to watch shows inside.

Daily Cases Update:  Another decent day as we have total cases down 1.60% to 1909, infections down to 34.9 per 100K

Good to see a particular favourite of mine Pollokshield's East returning to being Scotland's most dangerous neighbourhood. The good citizens must surely be approaching herd immunity the amount of times they have been near the top of the charts.

Another astonishing day by contrast in our 2nd City Edinburgh which now has only 100 active cases.  The areas around Pollokshield's and Govan come fairly close to outscoring the fine people of Edinburgh.

The SG still claim the NHS is under severe pressure 😂

I don't see how, surely 139 people in total extra than would normally be in hospital pre-Covid, isn't our NHS under pressure.

If there was a mad accident with 100 plus people needing hospital treatment, would that be our NHS under pressure too?

Well, I've got tickets for Simple Minds in Princes St Gardens, and the tattoo, so things are moving in the right direction.

It'll feckin rain though.
