Okay, slag him off but what’s your plan?

Constant control by the state, I guess.

Scotland has the worst Covid statistics in the whole of Europe.

Who’s to blame for that?

weegies.

If they can't discipline themselves to eat properly or look after their health do you think they'll social distance?

It's amazing how many people are acting as though being given their freedoms back is a bad thing.

Weirdos.

Yup. Willing to torch fundamental civil liberties because hospitals might get busy and eventually a few folk will need to be treated in corridors... again.

Absolute fucking roasters who should set sail for North Korea immediately.

Folk can't go on holiday because of the case numbers, folk are having to self isolate more because of the case numbers where the rest of Europe is opening up. All the papers today have headlines about Scotland being Europe's Covid Capital.

Tonight, England have announced the games up, back to normal. Thats why I think folk are confused and not celebrating "getting their freedoms back"

Brits can't go to certain countries because of the Delta variant, not case numbers.

Saved a fair bit switching to Ryanair when Easyjet bottled out of Portugal flights when they went from Green to Amber. My experience of Ryanair is much better than they used to be, worth paying an extra few quid for extra baggage allowance and booked seats though.

Hoping so. The £5 fare I quoted only because it was available. Being a moderately successful businessman I naturally availed myself of just about all of the upselling extras and have hold baggage, emergency exit seats and a cheese n ham toastie all booked in. £120 return.

I did however think the £3.50 each they wanted for fast tracking through empty airport security a step too far. I’ll take my chances with that. 🤔

So if we didn't have the delta variant but still had the largest cases in Europe we would be going abroad ?

As there is no basis of comparison here, I have no idea.

More than 50% of the country is double vaxxed. Most countries are looking at this rather than the prevalence of covid.

For Belgium at least, it was explicitly stated we can't go in because of the delta variant

As opposed to the 15 months of lockdown to 'protect the vulnerable and the NHS', which is insufficient care for the community even though we have enormously successful vaccines now.

Launch this witch into the sun.

And how is that going to work on the London-Glasgow train?

Put on masks at Gretna?

Kicked off if you refuse?

With open borders, Sturgeon has no choice but to follow Boris.

She has made the strategic mistake of allowing him to control the narrative.

It won’t work, but won’t stop her from saying it.

Confident that the initial suggestion was incorrect, yes.

But then followed up saying you didn't know it was incorrect. Look, I'll even quote it again so you remember next time.

No, she has made the fatal mistake of being blindly determined to peddle a different narrative.

I thnk you've misread her post.

She is talking about limiting her social interactions to just close family.

It's a real shame to see someone like her (is she still an MSP?) feeling so petrified that the thought of other people sends her into a frenzy of panic but there's nothing we can do for her.

No, she’s not an MSP.
