Have some faith in Magic
How does track and trace work in a pub when you will be able to freely wander around talking to folk? Previously it was down to where you were sitting and proximity. That obviously won't work.

williemillersmoustache
Hardly anybody is actually going to do these things though. But what about all those minimum unit pricing booze cruises to Carlisle that definitely happened?Needless to say I thought that was a great speech. Proper leadership, cautious yet optimistic, compassionate yet delivered with more than a soupçon of style and panache. Fabulous, she can literally do no wrong and I particularly appreciate the response she has generated from the Helens on here, fizzing away about nothing. -

mizfit
Grow up.I’ve supported most of the decisions made. However for Leitch to go on national radio, tell us full crowds will return only for us to get this is bollocks.
David W
The staggering thing was the complete lack of conviction in anything Sturgeon said.
PedroMoutinho
Anyone know what the situation is now re WFH? Personally I’d been looking forward to going back to the office a few days a week. But I see Sturgeon has ‘advised WFH should continue where possible’ but also talked about a ‘phased approach’ and ‘a return for some staff will be beneficial to them and their employers’. Seems clear as mud to me

It's not really worthwhile going a run to carlisle to save £5.00 on a 12 pack of fosters , on the other hand if you have a big wedding booked where theres a huge amount of effort involved you might be tempted to avoid the place with pishy rules getting in the way of everyones enjoyment

Seems clear as mud to me Working from home is advised, but legally if your work wants you back at your desk as normal, sitting with a colleague either side there’s nothing stopping it. I suppose you’d probably need to wear a face mask when moving around the building.

renton
They have tried to accommodate the Lovejoys and Libertarians in one go and probably fucked off everyone in the process. Even if you take for granted that masks help reduce infections, that was only ever in conjunction with social distancing. To remove one element makes the other useless by default. Its a headache of a halfway house that will make life difficult for hospitality. Edited August 3, 2021 by renton
