The Scottish Government said Ms Godley was being paid £10,000 plus VAT for her work on a “multi-channel campaign” urging people to “stop the spike”.

So £10k not £12k.

The Tories have wasted billions and billions over Covid including making many friends/party supporters even richer and people are expressing faux outrage over£ 10k?  Fucking hell.

It's always amazed me that he isn't more well known and famous. Genuinely hilarious.

To be fair he’s pretty big in the right circles. Same as say Bill Hicks. Your average Janey Godley fan isn’t gonna have a fucking clue who they are, and that’s probably for the best.

Whatever way you want to spin this. £12K left an SG bank account for hers.

I remember him saying that people always wrongly assumed he was Scottish when in fact he comes from a mixed background.
He said his mother was Scottish but his father was a one and a half litre bottle of diet coke.
I must admit to spraying my TV with juice when I heard that.
Good evening moose fuckers.

That's because we locked down and restricted services way beyond the point where it was reasonable to do so and now the backlog has become a problem.
You want to be directing these sorts of questions at Nicola Sturgeon bud.
Exactly of course it is and hence it's all down to the Pandemic regardless of the numbers in hospital or how we got to this stage. To keep banging on that the NHS isn't under strain due to Covid and to try and back that up using the numbers in hospital is clearly nonsense as you have just confirmed.

Summary for @oaksoft  Yesterdays deaths 17,  ICU cases 82 (17 new),  In hospital with confirmed Covid 883 (125 new).   I will update these daily to report changes.

Daily Cases Update: Up just over 1% as we crash through 800 cases per 100K.   Looks like we may start to fall tomorrow.  I even think we might be knocked of the top of the world by Mongolia tomorrow as they surge to 785 today up 54% on the week.  I think they do wear masks while ascending the Himalayas but may be all the discos at base camp.  On a serious note for a country of 3.34 million they have 19,400 people in hospital which is 40% of their current cases.  Must be in turmoil.

Balmalloch in North Lanarkshire is the place to dodge with a infectious rate of 2554 per 100K.  I suspect this translates as keep out of kilsyth.

Vaccine figures are dogshit

Figures for Jags.  1st Vaccines   4,301 to 2,349 ,  2nd vaccines   9,903 to 6,731

Total Cases Scotland 7 days 30th August to 5th September  were  43,662 to 44,131 up 1.07%, Positivity was 12.7% now 12.7%.  Cases per 100K were  798.8 now 807.4

Home Nations Daily update  :  UK Average  370.1 to 377.4 up 1.97%, England 317.0 to 324.9 up 2.49%, Wales 480.6 to 493.0 up 2.58%, Northern Ireland  533.7 to 531.1 down 0.49%

In Europe for travellers (Countries Population over 3 Million) Serbia 298.6 (weekly change up 57%),   Switzerland 215.8 (weekly change up 7%), Ireland  208.4 (Weekly change -11%),  Norway 182.8 (weekly change up 7%), Greece 165.9 (Weekly change -19%),  France 135.0 (weekly change down 24%), These are still the only main countries over 130 cases per 100K

Scotland peaks in Wave 3 at 425.1 for 27th June to 3rd July, (UK was 229.9) . Cases that day were 23,222 and positivity 10.8%

Scotland previously peaked in wave 2 at 301.9 for figures 29th Dec to 4th Jan, (UK was 642.1)    Cases that day were 16,496 and test positivity rate was 11.9%

Cases down again week on week. Test positivity down. It's over.

If you keep saying it you will eventually be right I suppose.

Cases and positivity down again. It's over, Simps, and it's almost like The Good Guys were telling you last week that cases were peaking.

There were less Covid deaths in August 2020 than August 2021.

Vaccines are definitely crushing it though and this is over....

This utter loonball still unable to comprehend that the virus is far more transmissable now compared to last year in a near fully open society. Or the fact that 'seasonality' isn't a factor when there is still a large, naive number of susceptible hosts.
