Unless they've promised him to pull some strings and get an English team up. This. The Iucrative friendly idea in a Scottish context is nonsense. Dan Danger
The lucrative friendly will be Celtic v Dundee in the US of A. Probably in about 2 years time the way things are going.

Jock Tamson
This. The Iucrative friendly idea in a Scottish context is nonsense. Nobody would be remotely interested.Unless said friendly is an all expenses paid trip to the USA with a friendly that may give them a payday that they could never get here.

Jock Tamson
On St Patrick's day. You'll certainly need the income generated from it if it's true that your club has agreed to promote Utd and relegate Hearts.

Play it in Boston or New York in front of lots of American dafties who pretend to be Irish, while dishing out some spurious Cup you mean? I can't see it, as Celtic can play in these daft tournaments against genuine big guns. Would it not also be too brazenly corrupt as a bribe, even for Scottish football.
craigkillie
Yes, I find that story to be a bit far-fetched, and wouldn't be surprised if it was pushed to the Daily Mail by a Rangers PR source.
